"The genuine tradition of Carpano cured meat"The company is taking its first steps in 1952 when after the WW2 Angelo Carpano, the founder, was forced to leave the city of Belluno to Val di Fassa, the current headquarters. Angel opened the first butcher in Pozza di Fassa, helped by his wife Catherine, from Moena. The two give birth to 5 children, all engaged in the slaughtering and meat processing.
